Accepting Visits

Before you start

When dispatch offers you a visit, you get a push notification (and a text, if your organization turned that on and you enabled text notifications in your profile). Keep notifications on for the NomadMD app.

Step 1: Open the request

1. Tap the notification, for example "Pending - IV Therapy". It opens the request.
2. Or open the app: new requests appear in yellow under UPCOMING APPOINTMENTS on Home.

Step 2: Review it

The Appointment Request screen shows the date, the patient, the Procedure(s), any Notes, and the Location with how far away it is. If the patient offered other times, pick one under Start Time.

Step 3: Accept or decline

Tap Accept or Decline. There's no confirm step, so check the time first. Accepted visits move to your upcoming appointments and calendar.

Step 4: Get there

1. Open the appointment from Home or the Calendar.
2. On Appointment Details, check the badges: Orders Needed or Orders Approved, and Signature Required if a consent form needs signing.
3. Tap the location pin next to the address to open directions in your maps app.

Step 5: Start the visit

When you arrive, tap Start Visit, check the start time, and tap Confirm.

Tips

• Can't take it? Decline quickly so dispatch can offer it to someone else.
• Keep your availability current on Home so you only get offers you can take.
