Before you start

NomadMD can send a stream of events to your analytics and marketing tools through Segment (see Segment & GTM). Events come from two places:

  • Your booking page (in the client's browser): what clients look at and click.
  • NomadMD's servers: what actually happened, such as bookings, payments and visits. These are the source of truth for revenue.

Every event carries your marketplace, and the organization where known. Events don't include clinical details from charts or intake forms.

Booking funnel

Follow a client from landing to booking:

  • Marketplace Opened and page views as they move through Location, Services, Schedule, Confirm and Success.
  • Service List Viewed, Service Viewed, Service Added / Removed.
  • Location Selected, Availability Viewed, Time Slot Selected or Waitlist Selected.
  • Checkout Started, Signed In / Account Created, Coupon Applied / Denied, Gratuity Added, Payment Info Entered.
  • Order Completed: the booking, with its full value. Checkout Failed if it didn't go through.

Appointments

  • Requests: Appointment Requested, Approved, Updated, Cancelled, Fulfilled.
  • Visits: Appointment Booked, Rescheduled, Reassigned, Started, Completed, Cancelled, No Showed.

Money

  • Payment Captured and Payment Failed.
  • Order Updated, Order Refunded, Order Cancelled.
  • Payment Collected On Site for cash or payment links.

Memberships and packages

  • Membership Started, Renewed, Charge Failed, Cancelled.
  • Package Purchased and Package Credit Redeemed.

Providers and operations

  • Appointment Offered, Appointment Request Accepted / Declined, Appointment Assigned.
  • Chart Note Saved (no chart contents), Availability Updated.
  • Admin changes such as Promo Code Created and Procedure Published.

Tips

  • Count revenue from server events (Order Completed, Payment Captured), not page views. Ad blockers can hide browser events.
  • Clients are linked across visits once they sign in, so you can tell new clients from returning ones.
