Before you start
Clients usually book themselves on your booking page, but your team can also book a visit directly, for example when a client calls. You'll need a role that can manage appointments, like business owner or dispatcher. For finding your way around the calendar, see Team Calendars.
Step 1: Start a new appointment
- In the side menu, select Calendar.
- Select Create Appointment.
Step 2: Choose the client and services
- Search for the client by name and select them. New client? Add them under Clients first, so their address and details are on file.
- Under Which marketplace?, choose the marketplace the visit belongs to.
- Under Add procedure, add each service for the visit.
- Booking for more than one person? Select Add another patient under Additional patients. See Group Appointments.
Step 3: Choose a time and provider
- Set the Start and End date and time. Times are shown in your organization's time zone.
- Under Practitioner, choose who will do the visit. Optionally, add an Additional participant, like a second nurse.
- Check Enter location. It fills in with the client's address, and you can change it.
- Add any Notes for the provider, like a gate code or parking tips.
- Select Create.
The visit appears on the calendar right away. Select it any time to edit it, chart, or check out.
Tips
- Check the provider's availability on the calendar before you book, so the visit lands inside their hours.
- Need the client to pick their own time instead? Send them your booking link.
