Before you start
A package is prepaid points. Clients buy the package once, then spend points on services instead of paying per visit. Each service has a cost in points. You'll need a marketplace admin role.
Step 1: Open packages
- In the side menu, under Global, select Marketplaces, then open your marketplace.
- Select the Memberships tab. Packages are at the top.
- Select Create package and enter a name, price and description. Turn on advertising to sell it on your booking page.
Step 2: Add points
- Open the package.
- Under Package Items, select Add item.
- Enter the Points and tick the Procedure Groups the points can be used on.
- Select Save.
Step 3: Set each service's point cost
- On the marketplace's Procedures tab, open a base definition.
- Set its Packaged cost in points.
Example: IV Vitamin Infusion costs 5 points, so a 10-point package covers two infusions.
How points are used
- At checkout, if the client has enough points for a service in a covered group, the service is covered by a Package Credit line.
- Points expiring soonest are used first.
- Services without a point cost are paid as usual (membership discounts still apply).
Tips
- Attach a package to a membership to give members fresh points every renewal. Those points expire at the next renewal.
- Clients see their remaining points under Your Packages on the booking site.
