Before you start

This guide takes you from a brand-new account to your first booking. You'll need the business owner role. If you're not sure you have it, see Getting Around NomadMD.

Did NomadMD set up your account for you? On plans that include setup, our team has already loaded your services, prices, and branding. You can skip anything that's already done, but still review each step. You know your business best.

Step 1: Sign in and set your password

  1. Open the invitation email from NomadMD and select the link to create your login and password.
  2. Sign in with your email and new password.
  3. No email? On the sign-in page, select Reset password and enter your email to get a new link.

Step 2: Connect payments

You need a payment account before clients can pay you, and before you can receive payouts.

  1. In the side menu, select Settings, then the Payments tab.
  2. Select Add account, give it a label (for example, your business name), and select Submit.
  3. Select Continue onboarding and complete the secure payment form with your business and bank details.
  4. When the account shows Approved, you're ready to take payments.

Step 3: Review your services and prices

  1. In the side menu, select Procedures. The Definitions tab lists every service you offer and how long it takes.
  2. Select Edit to see your prices. Select any service to change its price, length, or description.
  3. On the Profiles tab, group services into procedure profiles (for example, "IV Specialist"). You'll give these to your staff in the next step, so each person is only booked for services they can perform.

Step 4: Add your team

  1. In the side menu, select Personnel, then New profile.
  2. Choose a Role (for example, practitioner for nurses), and enter their name, title, and email.
  3. Check Send invitation so they get an email to create their login, then select Save.
  4. Select the new person in the list. Under Assigned Procedure Profiles, select Assign procedure profile to choose the services they can perform.

Step 5: Set availability

Clients can only book times when a provider is available.

  1. In Personnel, select a provider and scroll to Weekly Availability.
  2. Select Availability next to a day to add working hours. Hours repeat every week.
  3. Use Additional Availability for one-off extra shifts, and Blocked Time for time off.

Providers can also set their own hours under My profile.

Step 6: Set your service area

  1. Select Settings, then the Service Area tab.
  2. Select Add Coverage. Enter a radius in miles around a center point, or draw the area on the map.
  3. Optionally, add a travel fee for visits in that area.
  4. Clients outside your service area can't book a visit, so check that the area covers everywhere you travel.

Step 7: Take a test booking

  1. Find your booking link in the email NomadMD sent to your email address.
  2. Open it and book a visit the way a client would.
  3. Check that it shows up on your Calendar and in Dispatch.
  4. Then share that booking link on your website and social media. You're live.

Tips

  • Set up services and staff before availability. Availability only matters once people can be booked for services.
  • Not seeing Settings or Personnel? Your role doesn't include them. Ask the account owner.
  • Can't find the booking link email? Search your inbox for NomadMD, or contact support and we'll resend it.
  • Stuck on any step? Contact NomadMD support and we'll help you finish setup.
