Charting & Completing Visits

Before you start

Open the visit from Home or the Calendar. The buttons at the bottom of Appointment Details are Consent Form, Chart Notes and Payment, plus Start Visit / End Visit.

Step 1: Get consent signed

1. Tap Consent Form. If there's more than one, the top shows which one you're on.
2. Hand the phone to the patient and tap Sign form.
3. The patient draws their signature under Draw your signature (turn the phone sideways for more space), then taps Accept Signature. Tap Clear to start over.

You're recorded as the witness automatically, with the time and location. When every form is done, you'll see All consent forms signed!

Step 2: Chart the visit

1. Tap Chart Notes. The Patient tab has vitals (tap Add), the clinical record, orders and consent forms.
2. On Assessment and Intervention, tap Edit form, fill it in, and tap Save changes.
3. Add photos or files under Attachments (Take Photo, Pick from Gallery or Pick from Files).
4. When it's complete, tap Sign and lock.

Seeing Intervention Form Locked / Provider Order(s) Required? The service needs an order first (see Medical Orders). Only roles that can manage orders can edit the assessment.

Step 3: End the visit

Tap End Visit, check the start and end times, and tap Confirm.

Step 4: Take payment

1. If money is owed, the Payment screen opens. (You can also tap Payment any time.)
2. Add a tip under Gratuity (Optional) if the client wants one.
3. Under Payment Method, pick a saved card or tap + Add New Card.
4. Tap Submit Payment. You'll see Payment Successful with the transaction details.

Tips

• The app takes cards only. For cash or a payment link, use the dashboard's Checkout tab.
• Lock your charts before you leave. Open charts show up in your productivity report.
