Connect Qualiphy for good-faith exams by video, and get the exam and order back on the chart.
Before you start
Qualiphy runs good-faith exams by video with its own licensed practitioners. When an exam is approved, NomadMD adds the exam PDF and an order to the patient's chart (see Medical Orders). You'll need a Qualiphy account and API key, and an organization admin role.
Step 1: Connect Qualiphy
- In the side menu, select Settings, then the Integrations tab.
- On the Qualiphy card, select Configure, then Edit.
- Turn on Enabled, paste your API Key, and choose your State. Save.
Step 2: Choose exams
- Your Qualiphy exams appear under Exams. Keep the ones you use and drag to set their order. Select Save.
- Open an exam to link it to services and set # Refills (visits the resulting order covers) and Expires after (days).
Step 3: Send an exam
- Open a booked appointment and select Qualiphy (next to Chart Notes).
- Confirm with Send. The patient gets an email link and is assessed by a Qualiphy practitioner.
Step 4: Get the result
The appointment shows each exam's status. When it's approved, the exam PDF and an order are added to the chart, and the visit's order requirement is met.
Tips
- Patient hasn't done it? Select Resend on the appointment.
- Send the exam as soon as the visit is booked, so it's done before the provider arrives.
